Rescue Company 1 is located at 940 Wyoming Ave. and is dispatched on all alarms in the city. In addition to fire suppression Rescue Co. 1 responds to all motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, rescue calls, and all other tasks demanded of a modern Rescue Company

Fire Headquarters |

Engine Co. 4, Truck Co. 2 and the Assistant Chief (C-21) are located at 518 Mulberry st. in Fire Headquarters. In addition to the three units, this station is home to the Fire Prevention and Investigation offices, the office of the Deputy Chief and the office of the Superintendent of Fire.

Engine Co. 2 is located on the corner of Gibbons st. and Pittston ave. Also housed here is Engine no. 1, one of three spare engines, and is where the departments’ hose is repaired. Engine Co. 2 ‘s first due area covers Southside and Minooka, and will respond to E. Mountain, West Side , Central City, and the Hill Section in the event of a Second Alarm. Engine Co

Engine Co. 7 |

Engine Co. 7 is located at 1917 Luzerne st. In addition Truck no. 1, the departments’ spare ladder truck, and Attack no. 1, the departments’ brush unit, are stored here. This location has the facilities to repair our fire helmets. Engine Co. 7 responds to West Side, Bellevue, West Mountain and Keyser Valley as its first due area

Engine Co. 8 |

Engine Co. 8 is located at 207 W. Market st. Also housed here is C-30, our Mobile Air Unit, and the Fire Prevention Smoke House. Engine Co. 8’s first due area is North Scranton, the Plot, and parts of Green Ridge. In the event of a Second Alarm Engine Co. 8 will go to West Side, Central City as well as parts of the Hill Section and Keyser Valley

Truck Co. 4 |

1047 N. Main ave. is the home of Truck Co. 4 as well as two of three spare pumpers. Truck Co. 4 covers West Side, North Scranton, Tripp Park the Plot Section as well as and parts of Central City and Keyser Valley as its first due area. This company is on all second alarm fires. Attack 1
Attack 1 is a 1993 four wheel drive Dodge with a Reading Box and carries 200 gallons of water. This piece is requested whenever needed if an incident such as a car fire or brush fire is in a remote location. Also in the event of inclement weather Attack 1 will be utilized to respond from Fire Headquarters attatched to all alarms.
