Saturday Morning Fire in an Apartment Complex 12/13/2014 (PHOTOS)

On December 13, 2014 at 9:26 am a fire was reported at 1106 Curtis Ln. Engine Co. 7, Engine C0. 8, Rescue Co. 1 and Truck Co. 2 were dispatched. While enroute Car 21 reported that he can see smoke and activated the SRN, Engine Co. 4 and Engine Co. 2 were dispatched. C-Shift firefighters found a working kitchen fire and stretched a 1 3/4 inch attack line from Engine 8 into the building. The assistant chief requested a second alarm which added Engine Co. 10, Car 5(Superintendent),Car 26( Deputy Chief) and the Fire Inspectors were added to the incident. Some A-shift firefighters were called in to back fill empty stations. The fire was kept to the first floor and by 11:04 am all companies were back in service.
